I PROMISE MYSELF!
I promise myself...... To be strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.
I promise myself...... To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person I meet.
I promise myself...... To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
I promise myself...... To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true.
I promise myself...... To think only the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
I promise myself...... To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.
I promise myself...... To forget the mistake of the past and press on the greater achievement of the future.
I promise myself...... To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature I meet.
I promise myself...... To give so much time to improving myself that I have no time to criticize others.
I promise myself...... To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
I promise myself...... To think well of myself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but in great deeds.
I promise myself...... To live in the faith that the whole world is on my side, as long as I am true to the best that is in me.

Chants: Zoo Animals Theme 2
100 ANIMALS-
I went to the zoo and what did I see?
100 animals looking at me. There were,
10 tall giraffes eating from the trees.
10 silly monkeys scratching on their knees.
10 sleeping snakes lying in the sun.
10 munching elephants eating peanuts one by one.
10 leaping tigers performing in the shows.
10 pink flamingos standing on their toes.
10 grouchy bears trying to get some sleep.
10 happy hippos in the water deep.
10 roaring lions walking two by two.
10 galloping zebras all living in the zoo.
BIG GRAY ELEPHANT-
The big gray elephant slowly walks.
She doesn't make a sound.
She swings her trunk from left to right.
When she puts her feet on the ground.
Swing, swing, left and right.
She doesn't make a sound.
ELEPHANT-
Who is the animal baggy and gray
(Circle both arms).
That walks in the forest with a sway
(Sway both arms).
Who runs around on big big toes
(Point to toes).
And feeds himself with his nose
(Point to nose).
The elephant!
(Clap hands 1 time).
THE ELEPHANT-
He's ever so big and ever so fat
(hold hands high and then apart).
He has no hands he has no toes
(shake finger and head for no).
But goodness gracious
(hands on cheeks).
Such a nose!
(making an imaginary trunk).
THE ELEPHANT'S TRUNK-
The elephant has a great big trunk (Pretend an arm is the trunk).
That goes swinging swinging so (Swing trunk).
He has tiny tiny eyes that show him where to go (Point to eyes).
His huge long ears go flapping flapping up and down (Pretend hands are ears).
His great big feet go stomping stomping on the ground (Stomp with feet).
THE YELLOW GIRAFFE-
The yellow giraffe is tall as can be (Put hand up high).
His lunch is a bunch of leaves off a tree (Put arm up for tree branches).
He has a very long neck and his legs are long too (Point to neck and legs).
And he can run faster than his friends in the zoo (Run in place).
GIRAFFE-
Of all the animals in the zoo I am the tallest. That is true.
Who am I? I am the giraffe.
I am brown and white with a little red.
And I have two knobs on the top of my head.
Who am I? I am a giraffe.
My neck is long, I am very tall but I don't have very much voice at all.
Who am I? I am a giraffe.
I have one big ear on each side of my head.
High up in the air is where I am fed.
Who am I? I am a giraffe.
I walk right up to the tallest tree and I eat the leaves that are good for me.
Who am I? I am a giraffe.
THE BROWN KANGAROO-
The brown kangaroo is very funny.
She leaps and runs and hops like a bunny
(Hop around).
And on her stomach is a pocket so wide
(Put hand on stomach like a pocket).
Her baby can jump in and go for a ride
(Have other hand jump into "Pocket").
KANGAROO-
Jump jump jump (Jump).
Goes the kangaroo (Jump).
I thought only one (Hold up one finger).
But now I see two (Hold up two fingers).
Mommy and her baby with his head popping out
(Wiggle thumb between index and middle finger).
He holds on tight (Pretend to hold on tight).
As they jump all about (Jump all about).
THE KANGAROO-
It is a curious thing that you don't wish to be a kangaroo,
to hop hop hop and never stop, the whole day long and the whole night, too!
To hop across Australian plains with tails that sweep behind like trains, and small front paws, and pointed jaws, and pale neat coats to shed the rains.
If skies be blue, if skies be gray, they bound in the same graceful way, into dim space, at such a pace that where they go there's none to say!

AT THE ZOO-
I see elephants with heavy legs,
eating bacon and eggs.

playing with the horses around a deck.
I see zebras wearing black and white,
running freely under the sunlight.
I see monkeys making funny tricks,
eating bananas and playing with sticks.
I see the seals swimming in the pool,
and sitting with grace on a wood stool.
I see children holding colorful balloons,
next to a cage where I can see raccoons!
I see people walking around,
listening to the foxes making their wow wow sound.
THE ZOO-
This is the way the elephant goes,
With curly trunk instead of nose.
(clasp hands and move arms back and forth dangling)
The buffalo all shaggy and fat,
Has two sharp horns in place of hat.
(point fingers out from forehead)
The hippo with his mouth so wide,
Lets you see what is inside.
(open and close hands to make mouth movements)
The wiggly snake upon the ground,

your head so high above the ground.
Will you point out to me the place,
where you can see my father's face."
TEN LITTLE PENGUINS-
Ten little penguins standing on the ice.
All of them are smiling they seem so very nice.
They play out in the snow all the winter long.
They eat a lot of fish which makes them big and strong.

One fell off and bumped his head.
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said:

(Continue chant counting down till… 1 little monkeys…)
5 LITTLE MONKEYS-
5 little monkeys high up in the tree.
Teasing Mr. Alligator,
"You can't catch me, can't catch me, can't catch me!"

that monkey right out of that tree!
(Continue chant counting down till… 0 little monkeys… Along comes Mr. Alligator fat as can be!)
SWING SWING-
Little monkeys swinging in the tree,
All hold hands and swing with me.
Swing up high and swing down low,
Swing in the tree, now don't let go!
Swing, swing, like I do.
Swing like monkeys in the zoo.
(Have the children stand in a circle and hold hands. Have them swing their arms up and down.)
MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO-
Monkey see monkey do!
Let's watch them in the zoo.
We stare in (Put left hand up),
they look out (Put right hand).

I'll Love You
I'll love you when you're dumb,
I'll love you when you're smart,
I'll love you any way you are,
Right from the start.
I'll love you if you're fat,
I'll love you if you're short,
I'll love you if you're pretty,
Or just an ugly dork.
I'll love you if you're toothless,
I'll love you if you're blind,
Anything that's wrong with you,
To me you'll be just fine.
My heart is opening up now,
Unlike it used to do,
I see the pain that's in your heart,
And sometimes I feel it too.
I'll love you tomorrow,
I'll love you today,
I'll love you forever,
And forever always.
Truly Karen.

发觉,snake n' ladder 是很“可爱”的“益智”游戏
无需技巧 也 毫无挑战
游戏的赢输 并不在于 你的脑袋

Story: Zoo Animals Theme
AN IMAGINARY ZOO WALK
It was a bright, cool morning, and our family decided to go to the zoo. We quickly packed a pinic lunch and were off for the day.
We arrived at the gate just as the zoo was opening. As we walked in, there were several black and white striped animals running around in a field behind a fence. What were the first animals we saw? (Answer: zebra)(Let the children answer and then put the picture of that animal on the board. This is the format for the rest of the story.)
Our family continued walking along the path. Soon we came to an animal that had a long gray trunk and a huge body. (Answer: elephant) We stood watching the elephant for awhile. We would have liked to throw him peanuts, but there was a sign that said, "Do not feed the elephant."
We proceeded along watching many of the animals romping behind the different fences. After awhile we came to one of my very favourite animals. This animal had a long neck, was yellow and covered with brown spots. (Answer: giraffe) We stood there for awhile watching the giraffe eat leaves from the top of a tall tree.
Dad said, "Let's be on our way. There are lots more animals to enjoy." He was right. The very next ones we saw made us laugh all the while we watched them. These animals played on trapezes, liked to swing from branches, tires and ropes. They were? (Answer: monkeys) As with many of the other animals, we could have enjoyed the monkeys all day.
However, it was getting closed to lunchtime. We sat on the pinic bench and ate. As we enjoyed our sandwiches, a beautiful bird walked by and fanned his tail at me. It had so many colours in it. (Answer: peacock) Lunch was over and we had all afternoon to walk around. (Continue the story using zoo animals that the children would identify. About 3 or 4 more animals.)
The sun was setting and we were all very tired. We agreed that it was aboout time to go home. We stopped to have drink and then went to the car. The next thing i remember was that mom and dad were carrying us into the house.

It's Time To Change
Don't know what's in store
I'll be walking new pathways
Learning more
Meeting new faces
Making new friends
The time has come to move on
It's time to change
The seasons turn
And the years move on
Nothing ever stands still
Changing day by day
Good wishes go with me
And speed me on towards the sun
The time has come to move on
It's time to change
Change for the better?
Change for the worse?
Who can tell it better
It's for me to make it work
The sun is up and shining
And there's a rainbow in the sky
The time has come to move on
it's time to change
